Summary of Bracken Fern Manor
Country Inn Investigation, Nov.9, 2005

Founder and Director
Bracken Fern Manor Country Inn is high up a mountain
in the Lake Arrowhead area of California. Cheryl Weaver,
owner of the Inn, had invited us to spend a night
as her guests. We had requested a visit to the Inn
in hopes of experiencing some of the spirit phenomena
that had been reported by previous guests.
Our ride by car up the mountain took us through narrow
winding roads and up among the heavy hanging clouds.
Our investigative group consisted of Marguerite and
Arthur Kusuhara, and myself, Alma Carey in one car,
and Phillip Sokoloff arriving in his own car.
I'd met Cheryl over the phone. In person she is a
bubbly brunette, with a warm personality wonderfully
suited to making guests at Bracken Fern Manor feel
right at home. It is important to note that we had
no knowledge about the extensive and interesting
history of the inn, until Cheryl shared it with
us AFTER our stay.
I am including a synopsis of our experiences and
observations during a two day stay at this delightful
and comfortable Inn.
Photo 178-7900: PSI Member Phil Sokoloff sensing presence
in room.
Note dense orb over him.
Photo 179-7908 : Violet's room. This was the room
given me for the night. I felt a hand on my shoulder,
as though in welcome. Note the orbs.
Photo 179-7909 : Another photo. I smelled flower fragrance.
More orbs.

Photo 179-7910 : First floor up hallway. Sensed presences.
Note orb.
Photo 179-7911 : Phil's room. Strong female presence,
which he appreciated. Note orb.

Photo 179-7917 : Second floor up hallway. Note orb
on fifth step up. Cheryl and her assistant both felt
a cold spot on exactly this step. They didn't mention
it to each other until some time later!
Photo 179-7920 : Upstairs, the Jasmine room. The table
light blinks on and off. Note the orbs.
Our overall feeling of the Inn was warm and inviting.
We all felt the presences of delicate beautiful women.
Perhaps they are still there, welcoming the guests!
